Minotti novelties 2022
GOODMAN, HORIZONTE, TWIGGY – the three new sofas and armchair series from the Minotti collection of 2022, which were presented for the first time in Milan in June, have been attracting everyone's attention in the Minotti Concept Store in Zurich for a few days now.
Characterised by a light Seventies look paired with high seating comfort, Minotti 2022 focuses on haptic feel-good experiences with high-quality and flattering materials. As a contrast to the soft and warm textures, smooth and reflective high-gloss surfaces are used for tables and accessories. Just like the flat-woven sisal rugs shown for the first time, the creations once again prove the designer brand's skills.
HORIZONTE: AN ARCHITECTURAL VISION
Simple, refined and clear, like the line of the horizon on a sunny day, is the new Minotti sofa HORIZONTE in various finishes such as light herringbone or herringbone. Just 10 centimetres from the floor, on a metal or leather-covered base, the modular designer piece from the pen of Mario Kogan/Studio mk27 rests and convinces with clear aesthetics.
Equipped with innovative technology such as the embedded pocket springing as well as the shape memory, which allows the seat and back cushions to return to their original shape after a cosy lounging session, are just some of the advantages of HORIZONTE. A real eye-catcher is the integrated side table made of a marble or walnut top as well as the salon table in a high-gloss finish, which is a great contrast to the soft surface of the sofa.
GOODMAN: COSINESS IS THE TRUMP CARD
For the new GOODMAN seating programme, star designer Rodolfo Dordoni drew inspiration from the Seventies aesthetic. Characteristic matelassé seams underline the graphic lines of the sofa, whose main feature is the typical floating Minotti look. This is made possible by the recessed feet in bronze-coloured metal or polished chrome.
Fluffy, ergonomic and cosy, GOODMAN's focus on comfort invites you to linger, yet it is also characterised by its compactness. Thanks to modular elements, a wide variety of configurations are possible.
TWIGGY: A NEW ICON
Noble nubuck, soft bouclé, smooth leather - the newcomer, the TWIGGY armchair series designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, convinces with a touch of Seventies aesthetics paired with unprecedented versatility. The individual elements - just like the different colours or surfaces - can be freely combined and thus adapted to different room sizes. The result is a modern overall look whose individuality corresponds to today's zeitgeist thanks to the modular structure.
The TWIGGY series includes armchairs in Small, Large or Deep, with or without armrests, as well as a chaise longue, a sofa and three stool elements, whose refined quilting stitches are the visual centrepiece. TWIGGY is available in warm maroon, classic cognac, elegant off-white or eclectic malachite green.
