The 2023 collection from the house of Minotti, presented in Milan in April, proves once again on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Italian family business what the brand stands for: technological innovation, an unmistakably timeless elegance and the search for beauty and functionality, creating real values. With the return to upholstered furniture of bygone times, influences from different cultures and the skilful use of couturier manufacturing techniques, a complete work has once again been created whose creative direction represents the last oeuvre of Rodolfo Dordoni, because the talented Milanese architect and designer, whose creative energy has shaped Minotti's collections for 26 years, died unexpectedly at the beginning of August at the age of 69. Together with designers from all over the world such as Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, Nendo, GamFratesi, Inoda+Sveje and Gordon Guillaumier, the stylistic coherence of this anniversary collection was created.

With new additions to the interior, such as DYLAN, TORII BOLD, RAPHAEL or SUPERBLOCKS, as well as further developed models, such as SENDAI or the TWIGGY BED, Minotti appeals to different stylistic tastes, representing a constant balance between classic and modern, between organic lines and solid volumes. Above all, Minotti always places the demand on functionality, which should be given in small as well as in large rooms and thus makes luxurious, contemporary living possible in its purest form.

The DYLAN modular sofa system embodies the typical continuity of shapes and lines that are characteristic of the brand, while offering a versatile range of options. With a raised base that floats 13.5 cm above the floor on narrow aluminium slats in bronze or pewter, DYLAN presents itself as airy and modern, perfect for contemporary styles with a focus on couturier details. Couture-inspired stitching adorns the accentuated seat and back cushions, making the sofa a timeless classic with unusual modularity. Every detail of the DYLAN sofa is influenced by the meticulous craftsmanship of the covers and thoughtful architecture that integrates seamlessly into contemporary living spaces.

TORII BOLD is based on the legendary TORII, designed by Nendo, and retains the characteristic backrest with vertical stitching. At the same time, TORII BOLD captivates with an exciting contrast between the generously rounded upholstered sections and the light metal base on which the sofa and armchair rest elegantly. The sofas have a gently curved silhouette, in both the small and large versions, and are also available as a peninsula. The armchairs are optionally fixed or swivel, the latter featuring a curved metal base with a concealed swivel mechanism. The ottomans in various shapes and sizes pick up on the design of the armchairs and are available on castors for maximum flexibility in the living space.

The PILOTIS CONSOLE combines character, strength and design with its sculptural power and brutalist inspiration – making the furniture suitable for a variety of environments with its expressive strength. The cylindrical structure of the polished steel base flows into a hollow, horizontal half cylinder with the same surface. On top of this rests a volume of brushed, liquorice lacquered ash wood, which takes on the function of a top. The power of this detail is also evident in the side view, where the materiality of the wood is perceived.

A piece of furniture that is not only decorative but also functional: SUPERBLOCKS is designed as a real piece of architecture and impresses with its simplicity and clear design. The inspiration for the expressive sideboard was the rationalism of lines, shapes, proportions and materials typical of the Brazilian studio's work and is designed as a real piece of architecture. The storage element is made of wood or glossy lacquered, available in various finishes and rests on polished metal feet. In living and dining areas, for example, the storage element can be a brushed marble slab on top, intended as a shelf for objects. Another interesting accessory is the fine cutlery tray in core leather, ideal for the dining area. In the version designed for the sleeping area, SUPERBLOCKS presents an exclusive jewellery drawer with a diffused glass top.

The HORIZONTE BED is characterised by its elegance and the couture elements that continue the characteristic horizontal line of the seating system of the same name. The bed is available in leather or fabric and offers an airy architecture with polished metal legs and a versatile back panel that also functions as a bedside table. The customisation of materials allows for different variations to meet different needs.

From the elegant and airy SENDAI seating furniture family come a new sofa, a comfortable swivel armchair with armrests and a footrest. The slender, harmonious wooden legs that characterise the Sendai family also become iconic elements here. The design of the armchair, whose upholstered shell rests on a 360-degree swivel base with return function, stems from the desire for a larger seat. Its comfort is ensured by a higher backrest and the presence of comfortable armrests, which also guarantee a satisfying feeling of relaxation in combination with the footrest.
