Minotti-Novelties 2024

Every year, Minotti presents a whole new collection of seating programmes, armchairs, tables, chairs and various additional elements. Each new collection follows a specific inspiration, i.e. a particular atmosphere, which is expressed in the contexts in which the products are shown.

Particularly interesting architectural spaces are chosen or new ambiences are created. Attention is paid to original combinations of materials and colours, right down to the styling. A flowing dialogue, creative and harmonious between the indoor and outdoor areas of the ideal Minotti home. A refined, fascinating project in which shapes, materials, colours and spatial architecture come together harmoniously. The charm of the interior living spaces with the open nature of the outdoor area.
Continuity of style, a wide choice of seats and accessories, distinctive and elegant proportions and unrivalled comfort characterise the experience of the Minotti brand, which embodies atmosphere, style and quality of life like no other - in other words, the Italian lifestyle to perfection.

Here is a selection of the most striking highlights of the 2024 collection - on display from mid-September in the Minotti Concept Store, which is part of our showroom on Stampfenbachplatz in Zurich.

Between rigour and suppleness, form and function, YVES is a seating programme with a double soul, a perfect combination of rational volumes and organic shapes, enhanced by surprising and dynamic couture details. It is a project with an indeterminate charm that takes us back to the heyday of the 70s.
The fluid movements of the one-piece seats create different depths and cosy configurations: Like small coves, spaces are created in between, offering room for a side table or a stool and adapting the sofa to the constant evolution of contemporary living culture.

The refined, bespoke style that characterises the YVES seating range also applies to YVES BED, a project for the sleeping area that makes couture-inspired graphics its own. The seams determine the rhythm of the headboard's volumes, shaping its design and becoming an essential part of its architectural expression.

Sculptural and unique shapes with a clear matrix from the 1970s give rise to a design project in which elegance, formal innovation and maximum comfort come together. The design of the backrest and armrests, poetically reminiscent of a moon phase, becomes the stylistic hallmark of the SUPERMOON seating programme.

A bookcase that is clearly reminiscent of the style of the 1970s, with a contemporary interpretation: ZOE is created from the composition of different, repeating geometric shapes that are lined up in a harmonious interplay of structures, resulting in a real modular system.

VIVIENNE is characterised by its sculptural design with a contemporary look. This seating family features enveloping shapes and includes a large lounge armchair, a bergère, a dining armchair and pouf. With its semi-circular backrests, the interplay of volumes and overlaps creates a sculptural aesthetic that is also inviting. 

The DIAGRAMMA family of side tables features a graphic design that makes the furniture dynamic and versatile elements and an iconic eye-catcher in the living area.  They are irregularly shaped, multi-faceted and therefore ideal as a functional support surface for a seating programme with the effect of three-dimensional room sculptures.

PATTIE features an inviting and contemporary combination of structure and upholstery and impresses with its organic and clean lines, clearly inspired by the 1970s.  The armchair suggests a feeling of great softness and comfort thanks to its sumptuous upholstery, which is divided into seat, lumbar and shoulder support.

The sculptural, decorative JANIS screen presents itself as a micro-architecture of geometric shapes that are repeated and become its recognisable feature. A play of connections breathes life into this furnishing element, while the pattern lends it movement and three-dimensionality.

The JASON furniture family is characterised by sculptural and reflective volumes that serve as storage containers and combine functionality with decor. The piece of furniture has a particular trapezoidal shape, the two ends of which form inclined angles that can be used as storage compartments. Its elegant and modern silhouette gives the element a strong impact.

The Ethan side tables combine style and functionality: a marble top with an irregular hexagonal shape is supported by an unusual base consisting of two angular ‘C’-shaped elements facing each other.

The RAYAN family of tables is designed for lounge areas, opening up new interpretation possibilities for spaces dedicated to relaxation and ideal for informal dining. RAYAN was developed as the perfect complement to the YVES seating programme and fits into the niches of the sofa, where it creates an atmosphere of conviviality.
